Katy's PhD thesis (advisor: Michael Arnold) focused on the development of scalable carbon nanotube alignment techniques and carbon nanotube transistors. She is co-inventor of SixLine's core technology. She has received extensive entrepreneurial training.

Dr. Michael S. Arnold

Chief Technical Advisor, Co-founder

Michael is an internationally recognized expert in carbon nanotubes and their application in electronics. He is the Beckwith-Bascom Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and co-inventor of SixLine's core technology.

Jeff Moore

Commercial & Strategy Advisor 

Jeff is former COO and CFO of Virent and is an advisor to SixLine, providing commercial, financial,  and fundraising contributions. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with over twenty years of startup experience, primarily in advanced materials.

Azul Kothari

Materials Engineer

Azul graduated in 2023 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Materials Science and Engineering. As a student, he served as an Associate Science Editor at the Badger Herald, interned at Illumina, and worked in Prof. Majumder's lab. 

Dr. Michael Patton

Senior Research Scientist

Michael's PhD thesis (advisor: Chang-Beom Eom, University of Wisconsin-Madison) focused on the design of unconventional spin and orbital transport with applications in spintronics. His work specifically concentrated on epitaxial design in IrO2 thin films and he has extensive experience with high quality growth techniques and RF device measurements. 

Dr. Padma Gopalan

Technical Advisor

Padma is an internationally recognized expert in carbon nanotube assembly, polymer-based carbon nanotube sorting, and chemical synthesis and assembly. She is a professor of Chemistry and Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Padma is an advisor to the company.
